Instructions from Video:

To create a new location that has completely different walls and elements than the original location drawn, use the Floor and Foundation Builder Wizard. This tool specifies the exact elements and creates the layout based on the original location.

Select Insert>Design Wizards>Floor and Foundation Builder

The Floor and Foundation dialog box appears. The first screen is a welcome screen, click Next.

On the Choose your Level Type screen,  you have the option to build a storey above Floor Level or a Foundation level. For the first example, select Floor Level and in the dropdown box beneath it select Second Floor. Click Next.

Next, specify the construction method and the materials for the walls and floor. For this example select the Cavity option and then click the Walls button.

The catalog access dialog box appears. Select a wall type from the catalog that you want to use for the second-floor exterior walls and click OK.

Select the Floors button. Select a finish floor material and click OK.

Click Next.

The walls will directly line up with the exterior walls below. If you need to adjust them, for example, if the materials are different on each location, you can type a distance to move the second-floor walls towards the inside or towards the outside of the original exterior wall position of the walls in the original location. Leave the offset at 0″ and click Next.

The last screen is your last opportunity to click Back and change or review your selections. Click Finish.

Another location has been created mimicking the exterior wall layout of the original location.

Now we will build a foundation beneath the Ground Floor plan.
