Envisioneer V14 – Construction Suite – I finally decided to try: Insert / Roofs / Truss Run. The only option in my catalog is the Fink Truss which is fine for now. It seems to work pretty good since I have a simple straight gable roof. In 2D the lines indicating the trusses show up just fine. When switch to a cross section view on the Model tab the truss and web members show right up just like expected. Now the issue – When I insert the cross section as a Smart View I can’t get the trusses members to show up. I have tried to figure out if it is a “framing members are not specified” issue but not having any luck.
Works fine here (except I’ve never seen trusses look like this here in Oz)
But I’ve never been able to get the inside face of brick veneer and the outside face of the frame to display in sections . . . .
When I start a new fresh project I get it to work just fine. I must have an issue with the file and model, repair project didn’t work either. No worries, not a big deal for this project, mostly just eye candy for the cross sections. Thanks.
eye candy or not, builders here would ask “what sort of truss is that?”
Hi,
When inserting the section smartview>go into the view filter (eye at the bottom)>click on the + for roofs>open the eye for roof trusses
