MalParticipantI was thrilled to see that parametric trusses are finally coming to Envisioneer. The promo makes them sound very intelligent! “Recognizing the hips, valleys and gable ends of a roof it will put in the appropriate profile. It also recognizes any ceiling surfaces beneath and will alter the profile of the bottom chord of the truss as well.”
Fancy being smart enough to detect the roof & ceiling surfaces & create the trusses to support them. I wish Chantale has finished each truss run to show the girder trusses etc. Or put in a cathedral ceiling so scissor trusses were required!

FynrDzynrParticipantIt’ll be interesting to see how they handle hip-ends.
Years ago manufacturers supplied jacks but that caused issues for builders direct-fixing ceiling sheets so the most common setup in QLD these days is ICJs supported by offset (can’t remember the terminology – the truss equivalent of hanging beams)
Someone plz jog my memory!
