Well now…after all these years working with this software I have apparently never needed to rotate an entire plan until now, only to find out that this simple operation is not possible…is that right?
I can mirror an entire plan
And I can move an entire plan
but I cannot rotate an entire plan?
If you’re looking for upgrade suggestions I think I just found one…
Sure can Rotate plan.
But you cannot rotate dimensions. So turn them off or delete them. Not sure about text rotation, you would have to test.
You also should turn off , Select Elements on current location only while in plan view…… this option is in Settings (on top bar) , Document Settings > Building Aids. By turning this off you can draw box around plan and right click rotate will appear, and it will rotate all Building Locations.
It may seem that the foundation (for instance) did not rotate when you used Ground Floor as active location. Simply activate each other floor and they automatically rotate.
If rotation option doesn’t appear with dimensions off, turn off text or experiment with other items until Rotate appears. It work fine for me with furniture on , plants on , pads and walks on.

Thanks Jack, yes turning off dims did allow a rotate option to appear in the menu…I just erased the few I had as I don’t use them for production and I was just checking to see if it works. Work demands couldn’t wait for an answer and I just went with an angled plan in elevations…looks odd but whatever.
If any devs are reading this…for the love of god ADD the rotate option in the menu and grey the damned thing out as non-selectable when dimensions are selected with other objects, rather than just not showing the menu option at all. There is absolutely no way to tell that it is even possible to rotate multiple objects if the menu option doesn’t appear, greyed or otherwise.
Next time, right!
