Ridge beam

    I’m running Building Essentials V13. Can I select the ridge beam to lower it for under rafters? So far I’m unable to select any roof members that I set up in the roof properties.

    Cancel that. I’ll run the ridge beam as a separate member and elevate it.

    Hi

    The other alternative is to use: Insert>Members>Convert Framing to Members which will allow you to separate all of the roof framing members from the roof and then manipulate each of them.
