There are 3 different methods to insert a floor in Envisioneer. Floor by Room will find the enclosing walls in a space and place a floor within that room. Floors by Perimeter will find the exterior walls in a building a place a floor inside the entire interior of the space. Floors by Picking Points, gives you the most versatility. You pick points to show where a floor surface is going to start and stop at each corner. By picking points I can create an accent floor surface that is adjacent to another flooring material. By using the picking points method, I can also insert my structural floor and dictate the run of the floor joists and their bearing points. Floors by picking points puts you in control of where you want a floor surface or floor framing only to insert. I hope that makes your Envisioneer work, one step easier!
